Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly member and moderator Amir Liaquat Hussain’s remarks were again criticized by social media users.
In the past, Aamir Liaquat has been a controversial topic.
This time he also joked about the deaths of Bollywood actors Irfan Khan and Sri Devi. Since then, he has faced strong reactions on social media.
However, Aamir Liaquat recently apologized to his statement in a video message and said he apologized as a humanitarian.
In Pakistan, the local media ’s idea of a special Ramadan broadcast is nothing new.
It is impossible to mention this type of broadcasting, let alone Amir Liquart Hussein.
Amir Liaquat has been a host of local media for more than a decade. During this time,
he participated as a host in special Ramadan radio broadcasts on various TV channels.
But what did Amir Liaqat say yesterday, he must apologize for this?
Amir Liaquat, the host of the private TV show “Jive Pakistan”,
invited Pakistan’s leading actor Adnan Siddiqui to participate in the show.
On one occasion on the show, Amir Liaquat said in Adnan Siddiqui that people who work abroad are dead.
He told Adnan Siddiqui that he saved the lives of Rani Mukherjee and Bipasha Basu.
Aamir Liaquat said that Adnan Siddiqui recently refused to play the heroines of the two heroines in the two films.
Before giving this speech, he mentioned the famous Bollywood actors Irfan Khan and Sri Devi,
and Adnan Siddiqui worked with them.
It may be remembered that Sri Devi died of heart disease on February 25, 2018,
while Irfan Khan died on April 29, 2020.
However, Adnan Siddiqui said he was deeply saddened by the death of Sri Devi and Irfan Khan, and in reply to Aamir Liaquat said: “This is a joke for you, but for me Not a joke. ”
In a statement issued after the performance on the social networking site Twitter,
Adnan Siddiqui wrote: “It is very inappropriate to make fun of the person who passed away. Not only he (Aamir Liaqat), but also my country and us introduced the wrong way.
He added: “I’m sorry, I participated in the performance of Yamir Liquart.”
